Margaret qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and practiced for a while in a law firm based in Farringdon, London, where she gained wide ranging litigation experience and exposure to areas of law such as wills and probate, personal injury, landlord and tenant and public and administrative law.
Margaret’s areas of specialism are Public and Administrative law and all aspects of housing law with a particular focus on homelessness, allocation and housing policy. Margaret also practices in litigation and contentious probate.
Margaret has had conduct of cases in the Court of Appeal and the High Court, she has also been involved in a case referred to the European Court of Human Rights.
In her spare time Margaret enjoys reading, theatre and walking.
Tony specialises in Commercial Property transactions acting for both Landlords and Tenants, private individuals and companies on a range of Commercial Property matters. He also advises on a variety of company matters including the setting up and acquisitions of companies, share holder agreements, share sales, and general company procedures.
Tony originates from Rotherham in Yorkshire. On leaving school at the age of 16, he joined his father working in the coalmines. He then became a professional boxer before passing his Law Society exams in Westminster London before qualifying as a Solicitor.
Tony joined Wills Chandler in 1999. He is married to a solicitor with one son. In his spare time, Tony enjoys swimming, cooking, gardening and clay-pigeon shooting.

Emma Pilbeam qualified as a Member of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2002 and became a Fellow of the Institute in November 2004.
Emma started her legal career working in Residential Conveyancing. Since joining Wills Chandler in 1999, she has worked in the Private Client department as a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in the drafting of wills, tax planning, administering of deceased estates, advising on matters for the elderly and Court of Protection work. She is currently a student member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners and is working towards taking the exams to become a full member of the Society.
Outside the office Emma enjoys socialising with friends and family and going to the gym.
Mark Hill spent most of his career to date with National Westminster Bank. Initially, he worked in a specialist department handling wills, probate and trusts before moving into Private Banking where he managed teams of advisers providing specialist inheritance tax and estate planning advice as well as general financial planning.
Mark joined Wills Chandler in 2008 and now works in the Private Client Department as a Probate and Trust Manager, specialising in the preparation of wills, lasting powers of attorney as well as handling probate and trust matters.
Away from work, Mark enjoys spending time off the South coast in his motor cruiser as well as following football and cricket.
Nicholas qualified as a solicitor in 1966 and has practised in Basingstoke since that time when he first joined his father at Lamb Brooks solicitors. He now specialises mainly in Wills, Probate and Conveyancing.
Nicholas is a member of the Hampshire Incorporated Law Society and is a Vice President of Relate. (Marriage Guidance) He is also President of the Basingstoke Sports & Social Club and on the committee of the Hampshire Cricket Society.
Away from the office Nicholas is a keen hockey player, having played for Havant Hockey Club since 1961 and in September 2009 travelled to Adelaide in Australia to take part in a Veterans Hockey Tournament with 68 other teams. He is also a keen gardener and enjoys reading and taking his two dogs for long walks in the country.
Mo started her legal career in a solicitor’s office as an office junior at the age of 16. Mo has worked in Conveyancing assisting clients with their property transactions for over 20 years.
